[Closed] Garmin Edge 1000 not showing ridden path

Pretty sure it's since the last firmware update, my Edge 1000 no longer shows the path I have ridden on the map display, used to always be there in the bright blue. It still shows a course in purple if I select one to display/follow but that's it.

I've been through the awful menus but can't find anything obvious so can only presume it is a firmware update that has broken it. I normally just push the start/stop button manually on a ride and showing the path I've ridden is handy

Any suggestions? I don't own Bombers so they aren't an option
