MegaSack DRAW - This year's winner is user - rgwb
We will be in touch
I recently acquired a Garmin Edge 25, just for basic recording and some info whilst out riding, GPS and battery on my phone are crap, and on group rides I'd rather not carry a phone generally.
I've got it set up OK, but it still seems to automatically lap, even though I've switched the autolap feature off in the settings (options for 1, 5, 10 miles), any ideas?
Can't offer any help, but intrigued to see if someone can as its doing my head in too
What firmware version is on the device? It would seem there were some issues with persisting the settings before firmware 2.70.

mine was doing the same when I got mine. (aldi spesh). turned it off in settings and it stopped the beeping but looked like it was still lapping. looking closer it was just putting the hour number up next to the minutes looking like a lap number. you may not be as daft as me though so may be something else.
Make sure autolap is switched off in Garmin connect as well as in the unit itself....then do a sync.
Mikesbikes... I did exactly the same. the hour number is just much smaller than the rest.
Hmmm, that sounds quite feasible, I'll have to check next time I'm out....... Numpty.
When I sync with phone via bluetooth it is saying software update available, but won't do it.
Mine also says it needs a software update on bluetooth but on usb its up to date. I'm inclined to believe the computer.
Just swipe it away and it will continue.
