We will be in touch
Having a few rides now where I am catching the time start/stop button and of course ending my record. And when I get back I'm then finding the timer has been stopped. Not sure how im doing it but if any one has any solutions id be interested to here them ?
Find it difficult to imagine why you're accidently catching the stop start button as it requires a definite push to activate.
Could try moving the unit on bike so it's less out of the way, or fitting a Garmin silicon protector case which covers the buttons making them even less sensitive to accidental use.
I know you can lock the touch screen but don't think the buttons can be locked.
If you set auto pause to on, the unit will auto start when movement detected. Plus you could change the start notice message to repeat so it keeps beeping when movement detected.
Would the screen lock function help?
