Hopefully, some one can answer this question.
When using a Garmin 500 with the auto lap by postion turned on does the lap time automatically reset at the start of each lap?
I've looked thorugh the settings but cannot see last lap and current lap function as my 705 has.

Yes; lap is based on a set time or a set distance.
