My friends bike has Fulcrum wheels and hubs and I took the rear wheel off to give it a bit of TLC. I noticed the tiniest bit of play in the cassette so I thought I would take the it off and check the bearings, they seemed OK actually so not sure where the play is coming from possibly the freehub but anyway, my question is this..
On the non drive side there is a screw on cover plate that you tighten with a hex once it's in place. How on earth do you get it in the right position? Too loose and there is play in the axle and too tight and it binds. Adjusting the cup and cone bearings on my cheap wheels was way easier than this. I figured I must be doing something wrong. I've had the whole axle out and tried doing the NDS up first before attaching the freehub but it makes no difference...
Any ideas anyone?
