[Closed] Frame alignment, anywhere that will check it for me ?

Looking for somewhere near birmingham if possible ,where i can take my motolite to get the frame alignmnet checked ?
somewhere with a nice big tracking table !
I have a feeling something is not quite right with it and would like to get it checked out

ask if the shop actually have the correct (Park or other) frame checking kit before they start bending it!!!

good luck with it

just thought - a frame builder would be a good person to talk to - you must have a few oop north

You could check this yourself. Tie some string at the dropout then wrap it round the head tube, tie at the other dropout and measure the difference either side of the seat tube.

Should be enough to tell you whether the frame is straight or not. Park do make a tool that doer pretty much the same thing.

this is my method,, take your tyres off stand the bike upright on a flat floor,, take on straight edge place it touching the rear rim and the front rim it should touch in 4 places 2 rear and two front,, without moving the steering do the same the other side,,,

i once built a protoype bike which actualy left two tyre tracks side by side when ridden in a straight line ,,

Just thought - have you checked the Titus forums on MTBR? These guys will know if it's an issue with that particular frame.

Yeah , already posted on there , had 1 chap get in touch and he has a 09 motolite , same as mine with exactly the same issue !!
so looks like it could be a issue with some of the 09 frames ..
Im hoping jensons want it back to look into it as i`m non too happy with it at the moment !
