Took my brake pads out to replace (completely shot after only 4 rides!!), and noticed that on the reverse side the paint has been stripped where it contacts with the piston. Formula oro K18's.
Is this normal, or could the system be leaking?

Could be normal, certainly get the paint coming off on my SUperstar pads. If something is leaking I'd expect the paint on the caliper to be degrading to.
