Hi,
Im half way through servicing my forks (2007 F80rl) when the forks let out some air pressure. I was following the fox guide found here: http://www.foxracingshox.com/fox_tech_center/owners_manuals/07/eng/2007_om_eng.htm
I did the right leg (one with lockout lever) first, without any issues. however when i lifted the left seal out a burst of air pressure came out which pushed some oil and the foam seal up at the same time.
Is this an issue? What should i do?
Thanks very much!
dosent link to any particular guide..
go on mojo web site they have some great guides to fox forks
i second MOJO website. did an oil/seal change this morning after watching the vid at Mojomedia>seal maintenance. Very helpful! didn't realise you can change the oil and seals just by taking off the lowers every time. all the rebound and talas top cap gubbins can stay on fully charged. All you need is a 10mm socket for the bottom nuts 8)
