My m8 has emailed me about his fox fork's and I've no experience of them to help hm out, any suspension guru's about?

His email says

Somehow the rebound adjust nob on my fox forks had got fkud up

The dial on the top was just turning with no effect on the damping (stuck on max) so I took it off to check it out.ย  The shaft that the turny bit attaches to is square and this has a spring pressing on it so it clicks with every 90deg of turn, below this though the shaft just stops, like it has snapped off perfectly cleanly ! I cant quite figure out how it used to engage with the next bit of the damping system.

I'll have a better look later but do you have any suggestions ?

I know there air 140's fitted to an Orange 5 if that helps at all?

Rebound control rod snapped, cartridge needs to be stripped for the rod to be replaced. You really need the correct Fox shaft clamps to reduce the chance of damaging the cart.
If he needs this doing just drop me a mail.
