Never had a Fox fork with a lockout before.
It doesn't seem to doing a great deal at the two extreme positions i.e. it doesn't feel locked out at either.
Is this normal?
Fork is a 2007 TALAS 32.
Also the blue lockout lever feels quite loose on the fork.
time for a trip to mojo my man
my old f series ones used to be like that i never got to the bottom of it and was told by tft it was normal ive since got talas the defo lock out so it was obviously meant to ;-(
you can remove the blue cap and check the alignment of the lockout lever and the actual bit that it moves iirc
My 07 Talas lock out really rigidly, not like Rockshox forks that squidge 20mm when locked out. That said mine will be heading to South Wales soon enough, if left overnight the lockout doesn't work until you cycle the forks a few times, low oil level I guess.
Prob sorted this out already but if not..
I have this problem occasionally.. Can't remember where I found this out but if you leave the bike upside down for a few hours/overnight, then put it back upright, turn off the lockout and pump the forks really hard a couple of times (front brake on, all your weight on the bars and bounce) it seems to fix it..
Hope that's useful

It doesn't always work instantly - the Fox manual will tell you that sometimes the fork needs to cycle through the travel a bit before it locks. Bounce up and down on it a bit first after turning on the lockout before you send it off for repair.
