To clean / lube my rear shock? Or will motorbike fork oil do?

I've used motorbike oils in the past, it works, but now i'd use the Fox stuff. It doesn't cost that much, and I do actually think they've put some thought into how it performs. Their 20wt "gold bath oil" is great, it's like super sticky treacle.

Float Fluid is just for lubricating the air chamber on Fox forks and shocks. Isn't it? I wouldn't use it to clean or lube the stanchions or air shaft, its too think and sticky.
I tend to use Finish Line Red as it dries without leaving a sticky residue.
