I've got a set of Fox 140R's (2007 i think) but there doesn't seem to be a stop point on the rebound adjuster - it just keeps on spinning around!
Anybody else had this problem?

Does it actually make any difference to the rebound speed when you turn it?

Doesn't seem to make any impact at all.

It could be that the control rod has snapped which involves stripping the damper cartridge to replace it.

Is this somthing i can do myself? I've done some minor service stuff on my old Manitou forks before so not completely useless, just a bit unsure about fiddling with things that could prove costly!!!!

You really need the correct shaft clamps to prevent damaging the cartridge also it's identifying the specific parts needed as there are a number of components that maybe damaged. I can carry out an inspection and give you an idea of price, just drop me a mail for further details.
