That must have come as quite a shock.
They're quite big.

Did you happen to notice a lung half way up Midsummer? I seem to have lost one there about 8am this morning 😉

A bit icy this morning in places- a few tumbles on our ride.

It was a bit odd. Thursday night it had basically thawed and some of the trails towards the Malvern Hills hotel were properly sketchy. Then coming back from British camp, it was pretty rock hard. Bike was muddiest it has been for a while.

Today was somewhere in between. Ice on some bits, soft in others. Only fall I had was a comedy one climbing up to the top of British camp. Hairpin, tight turn, put power down, rear wheel hits ice, arse hits floor.

First EVER two wheel drift on the grassy cut/ditch back down from British Camp. Reasonably involving for a couple of seconds 😉

It's been kind of strange for a while with one side being frosty/icy/snowy and the other clear (and it not always being the same way round!) Was very frozen solid when I as out last night at ~7pm.
