Ordered EBB on the 16th October
No communication at all until I chased Eric Meinert on the 21st for order confirmation/expected dispatch.
Dispatch date (22nd Oct) came and went, no email confirmation.
Complained about not receiving it on the 3rd Nov and he's been looking into it since then, however, dispite a chase, still no further response or EBB.
Paypal give you 45 days in which to launch a dispute so I'll give it a little longer for him to respond. Anyone else had problems?
In my experience - he messed me around big time until I cancelled the order, a couple of years or so back. His excuse at the time was that he was having supplier problems - essentially didn't have the stock. He did everything he could (when he chose to respond to emails) to avoid selling me the thing. It's a shame as it looks like a good solution.
My alternative was to sell the vertical dropout frame and buy a sliding dropout Inbred frame for about the same cost as the EBB. Best decision I ever made....
Best of luck - we did sort it in the end, but it was a hassle and a shame.
Oh dear, now he's getting the hump and calling me irate and impatient. Apparently, no-one else has ever complained so much or been so impatient. I only said I was disapointed by the lack of an order acknowledgment, dispatch confirmation or response to my emails. I am totally prepared for a long wait, but some communication initiated by him would be nice.
