I have a Marin plus bike with (apparently) a 110mm boost QR hub. I'd like to change the forks but obviously the hub spacing is somewhat unusual and limits my choices. Do we think the wheel will fit in a normal 100mm QR fork (steel)? Not unusual to squeeze a 135mm hub into the back of a 130mm spaced steel frame, but is 10mm too much?

You might be able to spring the drop-outs but you might struggle to get a disc brake to align / run freely

Which version do you have?

I have one of the first run grey/orange bikes and the fork is a standard 100mm QR - I can swap my 29er front wheel in no problem.

2017 Gavin - I'm going off the spec (which actually says 110mm thru axle!), I should measure it really.

Didn't think about the brake, could see how that might be a problem!

Oh yeah I think those are indeed boost 110mm. Best measure to be sure before you part with any cash though! ๐Ÿ™‚
