Any way you can easily work out the offset ?, or is it a convoluted process involving lasers, sticks and bits of twine ?.
All these good fork deals about, I want to buy a spare for the Ebike, so when one is in getting serviced, i can keep riding.
I just dont know what the offset is and they always give you a choice.Be nice to get the right one.

Should be able to work it out from the serial number (Rockshox) or the 4- digit code(Fox) via the manufacturer website

Got a vice on a bench? Pop the steerer in the vice, lightly, fork legs flat. Measure axle hole distance from bench surface. Rotate steerer 180 deg, measure new position. Work out dist between 2 points and div by 2.
