I understand that fork offset will effect how a bike steers and handles. But I'm not really sure I understand it.
What difference would a 44mm offset make compared to a 41mm one?
It's for a 26 wheel and the axle to crown height is the same.

Increase offset decreases trail. Assuming everything else stays the same this basically makes turning easier but reduces straight line stability.
