This is my 2012 Genesis Fortitude Adventure 29er MTB Frame (supplied with Fork, Headset, Stem, Seat Post and Seat Clamp) size 20.5”/52cm. I purchased this bike from new in August 2012 and have only used it for one trip. I have all its original paperwork, receipts and proof of purchase. I am selling due to purchasing a road bike. This frame is in excellent condition, with only 1000 km of use it has a few minor marks and paintwork chips as shown in the images.
This is a rigid specific adventure mountain bike which can’t be run with suspension it has a relatively slack head angle a gives a super stable ride and is a very capable singletrack destroyer. As a 29er mountain frame is a perfect platform for on and off-road adventure mountain bike for extended touring or a fast and accurate rigid trail mountain bike or, both! This bike is singlespeed specific with horizontal drop outs and integrated chain tension adjusters and can be run with hub internal gearing such as Shimano Alfine 8 or 11 speed or with a single speed ratio.

Non-Suspension Corrected Fork
The short rigid fork keeps the front end nice and low and combined with a low BB it allows us to replicate the great handling of a 100mm 26inch hardtail with the rolling advantage of the bigger wheels.
Flattened seat tube
The flattened/squashed seat tube allows a nice tight wheelbase without having to bend the seat tube. It luckily also gives a clean look and ensures straight tubes throughout.
Mounts and Braze-ons Galore!
The frame has the following; 3 bottle mounts, rear rack mounts, fender mounts and eyelets. The fork features low rider mounts, fender eyelets but also three water bosses on the outside of each leg which can be used to mount bottle cages to the fork or the
Horizontal dropouts and a slotted disc mount
A horizontal/track end style drop out is still our preferred method of wheel tension, it’s just the most utilitarian design, with the most weight saving and the least amount to go wrong. Just grab the rear wheel, pull it backwards and tighten the axle bolts.

All of these items are in the same excellent condition.
