I want to ride the kettlewell killer loop and I've found the gpx file on the internet but I want to set off from Malham to make it longer. Therefore I will join the kkl half way round.
Do i have to start from the same starting point for it to work or is it clever enough to plot where I am and continue round?
I've only ever used it to record a ride and never to follow. Its a Garmin 305.
Thanks

I'd convert it to a tcx file and just follow the pink line. You can join it where you want then.

I used a GPX file to navigate around France recently, on my Edge800 i had the option of navigating to the start when I set it running.
