So I've recently purchased a winter bike and I'm in the process of building up a fixie. This leaves me with an N+1 dilema as I'm really looking for niches to fill for the next bike.

Does anyone on here ride a folding bike regularly? Bromptons and the like are going to be too pricey but I've seen some interesting SS/Fixed options that could be fun to try and build. I can see me using them when I'm driving on business trips or going down to my parents. Could simply throw it in the boot and pop out for an hour. Are they actually fun to ride or just a tool?

Two that look interesting are

or find something to build like this

Get a 20" folder and one that actually does the job.

Neither of those you linked to are very good at either job.

Kansi 3 Twenty is my choice.
