Mucoff bottles are made of it, cut one of those up

Lots of household stuff is made of this stuff. How much and what shape?

seen a good bodge on a yank fatbike forum. pair of sks longboards, cut down the middle lengthways, then a 3'' strip riveted in the middle.
I've seen fatbike mudguards cut from a water butt. Just find one the right diameter.
Epicyclo just uses trials bike guards for his fatbikes. You could cut those down a bit. They are pre-shaped and relatively cheap.
If you don't mind them being orange, I cut up the top and bottom of a couple of Jacob's cream cracker plastic boxes to make four enduro style front mudgaurds for all of our bikes.
eBay sells sheets of plasticard cheap.
Plastic folder cover
I want full length guards.
An A3 plastic folder cover...
full mudguards for a 29+ will need to be 1.2 meters long

Other sizes are available as are transparent colours.
I use trials bike rear mudguards on my fat bike. For a plus tyre the trials bike front mudguard would probably be the trick.
The good thing about them is that they are not flimsy and don't flap around, but you will have to make your own stays (not difficult).
It makes a hell of a difference - big tyres can chuck up impressive amount of filth.

Useless. I tried that as an extender on my mudguards and it lasted half a lap of the 'Puffer before it fatigued and cracked.
epicycle.....perfect

any tips?
normal metal stays araldited on?
No one mentioned traffic cones yet?
I have a tip - Araldite doesn't work on polypropylene so save yourself 4.99 trying

I just use alloy tubing from B&Q. Flatten the ends, curve to shape the bit that goes on the mudguard, then drill holes to suit.
Click through from here and you'll see how I did it on one bike.

I also have used flat strap, but that's not as good IMO.
How about cutting up a pair of 'Festival wellies"? Then you could have anything from a Union Jack to Daffy Duck...?
