[Closed] Fitting an SRAM front mech to a Trance.

Guys....[b]HELP[/b]!

I am building up a 2nd/commuter bike, which is a Trance.

The only problem is, I'm running SRAM X7 equipment inc X7 front mech. The problem is I cant get the bloody thing to fit properly!!!

I've got a top swing mech but unlike Shimano it has a two bar clamp affair. This interferes with the welding on the shock mounting so it' doesnt sit quite flush!

Any ideas how to fix this or have I set it up wrong in the first place?
Anyone else had the same problem or am I being blonde (no offence to blondes of course)
