In the midst of holiday-morning fury.

I can't for the life of me conjure the dexterity required to use the Park CT5 on my new 1/8" singlespeed chain.

At the "re-attach to drivechain" bit & fumbling like a buffoon.

Any tips?

Hi there.

Check out the Park Tools site...

http://www.parktool.com/product/mini-chain-brute-chain-tool-ct-5

They have vids of using their tools.

Make sure you use the right bed...one for rivet removal, t'other for loosening a tight one.

The CT-5 is intended for derailleur chains. The wide 1/8" and 3/16" chains should use the CT-7.

might explain it?

Buy or make the gadget that holds two ends of chain together freeing one of your hands. I made mine from a coat-hanger.
