I've seen somewhere a niche, smallish fire pit that is on a central pole for taking to campsites and not burning the grass. My Google Fu is completely failing me, so has anyone else seen them and know the website per chance. Or, did I imagine it?

No, it's quite literally a fire bowl on a 3ft spiked pole. Looks like it will kinda sway about a bit.

Most campsites I know won't allow open fires of any sort. Having had a few pin holes burned in one of my tents before from sparks from a fire, I think I agree.
