Hi folks

Just a quick heads up that the new mountain bike film made by Reset Films (the guys who brought you Home and the Dirt School DVDs) and starring the likes of Steve Peat, Danny Macaskill, Hans Ray and Rowan Sorrel will get it's Gala premiere at the GFT in Glasgow on Tuesday 7th September.

Tickets are now on sale from www.gft.org.uk and are already selling really fast.

The screening will be a double bill feature of Find and Home.

You may well have seen some footage on tinterweb of Peaty and Co riding Skye and Torridon. That's just a sneaky peek at what's in Find.

The cinema are already expecting a sell out so if you fancy coming along, best buy your tickets well in advance. The Glasgow screening of Follow Me in April saw a lot of disappointed people without tickets being turned away on the night.

Cheers

Sanny

I recall someone got their dates wrong for Follow Me and turned up the following night! Fortunately, the cinema took sympathy on them and gave them comp tickets for any screening of their choice. 😀

Does it go on sale then too, do you know?

Glasgow's a bit of a journey for me but I'd be happy to stump for the DVD.

I was underwhelmed by Follow Me but have high hopes for this. I really liked Home and I'll in Bristol watching the double bill on the big screen.

Great, i'll be there.

Will i be lied to about the running order again? I really did not want to see Seasons for the 5th time. When Follow Me eventually came on I was bored and fidgety, many others at the GFT that night were the same.

Slw et al

The running order will be Home then Find if memory serves.

There's an article on the front page of the site at the moment and you can see teaser footage there.

The DVD should be available to buy on the night of the screening as it is due to release on the 1st of September.

Personally I'm really looking forward to see Rowan Sorrel's section in the Basque Country. Having seen the speed he rips down trails, I reckon that it will look pretty special on the big screen.

I booked my tickets at the GFT tonight, I think it'll be great. This is OT, but... I saw a film there called Beautiful Kate and it was great, I really recommend it. It was Australian, set in a little outback place, and it felt all claustrophobic despite it being in the massive outback. Great film.

Sanny, do you reckon there'll be a full tour? We all piled through to Glasgow for Follow Me then it showed just down the road a while later

Northwind

I'm only doing the Glasgow screening. I don't know if Mark has plans to show it at screenings other than in Inverness too.
Cheers
