[Closed] Final insurance Q (I promise) - a lightweight, rigid, skinny-steel, hardtail?

That would be a rough equivalent to a Bontrager Privateer...

Are we talking a Soul again? Is there anything new that's 'designed' to be rigid (i.e. with long and low non-suspension-corrected geometry)

Any number of frame builders will do you a quote for one of them.

A Genesis dealer would probably source you one of their 853 frames. (Sorry, can't think of the model name.)

Also Orange R8...

Rigid you say...

"Clown wheels" work so much better on a rigid bike.
Niner SIR.9. Honestly. It's just lovely.

New Explosifs are 650B (and designed around a suspension fork).
