Krampus Geometery on 5", this will be a hoot for honking across rocks and singletrack trails inbetween here on the coast 🙂

Nice colour and not too pricey but... press fit BB 😕
press fit allows ebb...
The big S? I've heard Shimano and Spesh referred to as that, but Surly...?
Only for snow no??
What if you don't get snow too often?? 😉
It's a bike you can have fun on it everywhere. The brakes don't automatically come on when the snow stops. It's great fun in particular on loose surfaces as they have masses of traction. It can monster truck it's way over rocks and other obsticles. It has limitations like all bikes but hey!
Nah my point is coast kids from that there Scotland where it does snow and he may be biased.. We here on the South coast may want to take it to the shingleshangle beaches we have here...
Just a bit of humour really, sorry.. 😆
Shame. I thought that it was Spesh and the try hard types would be hating them bringing people into 'their' niche.
I don't get comments like clubber's up there.
The more manufacturers there are making fat rims/tyres/forks/frames the better it'll be for anyone that want's to buy a fatbike. 🙂
BTW there's already a Spech fatbike in the Spech shop round here and it looks great.
ive just sold my fireline 29er because i bought a Moonlander
now im selling my mojoHD to buy a beargrease.
they may not be as fast as other bikes in most places, but whereas i get off my mtbs exhilarated i get off the fat bike with a massive grin
im with singlespeedstu, the more manufacturers the better.
however, it does mean im waiting for prices to drop before i invest.
Halo "Tundra" 80mm rims will be out soon, dual drilled for inline or 17mm offset and £60 per rim, thats a third the Price of Surly RDs
Its getting cheaper to go fat 🙂 Ison - Tundra Rims
I built a complete fatbike for under £500, lucky yeah to buy one of my old frames back granted and got stock wheels for a good price but all stuff was on classifieds and eBay 🙂

Fat-bike.com typeface owes a lot to Fat City Cycles I say!
We should have had 'Fat' as the new wheelsize.
Can someone call Giant and let them know?
Can't wait 'till these go mainstream - I work with a couple of non cyclists who think they're very flash indeed - only put off by price.
Clubber, you do know spesh already do a fat bike? One model in the UK and two in the USA. Trek do one as well, the big players are wanting in on the action now. Should mean better options for components.

Light-Bicycle :
Hello Jason,Thanks for your inquiry.
We are going to manufacture the 26er hookless fatbike rim. The outer width is around 90mm and the price is undetermined yet. It’s also tubeless-compatible. This rim will be available around at the end of this month. Please find the attached cross-section drawing.
Thanks,
Light-bicycle
For some context, I have seen a couple of people on here post sparky comments about the big companies getting into fatbikes and also about new riders getting into their niche.
clubber.
Try not to tar every fatbike owner with the same brush.
Some of us even own other bikes too you know.
I thought by calling them "the try hard types" I was being clear that I didn't mean all fatbikers but I'll try to be clearer in future 🙂
Ta. 🙂
Fat bike is the only true bike....although you do need a long travel ht, beefy 160mm fs, singlespeed rigid 29er and a road bike as well. Do fancy a salsa warbird as well maybe
