Looks like there's a reasonably strong bike signal on the heatmap for the black dotted line that goes along the escarpment above Llyn y Fan.ย  Anyone done it?ย  Looks reasonable in places on the satellite pics.

Not done (yet!) but I know a man who has. Some good riding over there at the moment (dry) but probably best avoided on weekends

There's a BW to the south that crosses the moors.. looks worse - I know someone who's done it on a fat bike.ย  If rideable though it'd make an epic loop.

I've walked around there quite ย bit and usually see MTB tyre tracks, never seen anyone riding or taken my bike around though.

If you mean a 26" HT or FS, yup, just fine. The descent down to Dan yr Ogof caves is absolutely awesome fun.

I meant normal as in not fat. Thanks. I always avoided that BW cos it looked like a bog trotting nightmare.

There is one boggy section as you drop down to the river. It's downhill though, so easy enough.
