Who's racing tomorrow? Looks a touch wet today and not been the driest earlier this week, so should be sloppy!

Eldest_oab is racing - and I think hopes to do well... Let's hope he stays on his bike and upright, then he may do OK.

Mrs_OAB is helping send you all off from marshall point 1, smile and wave....

It's currently pissing down on Kinnoull Hill and forecast to do so for most of the day.
Rain again tomorrow morning, but should be dryish for the racing.

Same old same old!

I'm in. Never ridden there before so looking forward to it. Must say with the rain & subsequent flooding we've had for the last few days in the South of Scotland I've been half expecting a cancellation email but hopefully not.

Me, Tyred Jr the elder and a bunch of our mates. I have never done an enduro before (does the gravel Dukes weekender thing count?) nor ridden at Kinnoul hill so don't really know to expect other than mud.

Seems to be a few A9 and M9 crashes today - take care on the way up folks.

It's usually a great race, did Tweedlove 100 earlier this year and this is half the distance but just as fun. Nothing too scary features wise..

Also providing a couple for marshalling duties, will need to check where but stage 6 or 7 I believe!

The new section down from the bike park on stage 3 or 4 is going to be "fun" in the wet 😁
Freshly cut last weekend.

First couple of stages will be the muddiest if it is set up like usual. Expect a bit of a paddle in dark woods. Not steep except in short stretches. Expect exposed roots.

I'll be there, working on the Alphamed team; scraping up broken riders perhaps.
Keep it 'rubber side down' folks...

The first year, I think I got to the first corner then fell off on a stealthy root hidden in a swamp 🙂

Aye. Folk with completely stuck rear wheels.
And mini LD got shouted and sworn at for running past someone through the unrideable bit. He and I were a bit perplexed by this!
Everyone appeared to be having fun though.

That's bang out of order🙁
The swearing not the running.
Apart from that section I had a great time sliding about in the filth.

First timers here - I had a bit of a mare with a few bits (muddy, rooty slop is my nemesis on a bike). Stage 4 was superb all the way till coming to a total halt in that swamp. Mud jammed both wheels to the point they could no longer turn.

Enough spicy stuff to keep you switched on; really good, friendly vibe - good job all round.

It was a good day, challenging conditions. A few tumbles and one significant one on 7 which saw me slide for what seemed like forever down the hill on my backside 😂

Still, 10th in my catagory so my best result to date.

How, did the lad get on Matt?

Nice one in 10th!

11th in 19-29 men - he feels he was cautious in the conditions, and after falling off at EWS and loosing huge time, he rode to stay upright.
