My rear light has died (road bike)

So look I'm looking for a replacement and saw the TraceR MK2.

Has anyone used one is the ReAKT option and good and what is Peleton mode?

Cheers

Tracr is fantastic, someone on here said the Reakt bit was not so.

IMO the Tracr is the perfect rear light, it’s incredibly bright, reliable and well made.

Peloton mode is turned down a bit and I think it acts like a brake light as well I think.

I’ve got both - they are both great lights.

Reakt is the brake function, Peloton is the dimming function when it detects another light close behind you.

Both seemed to work great on a test on my road, but whether they work on the road, you’d have to ask the people behind me.

I have 3 TraceR Mk3 with Reakt and Peloton which have just replaced 3 original TraceR lights which gave 3 years good service and were all still working great when I sold them on.

Couple of clubmates swear by them, the peloton mode seems to work on night time group rides

Mine is the version with ReAKT (the brake light function) but not Peloton mode.

The brake thing is brilliant. Riders behind on downhills have commented afterwards about seeing the braking point on descents. It also works with drivers, it's just an instinctive thing for drivers to react when a brake light flares up in front of them - the surprise that a bike has one only really registers afterwards but IME, it definitely helps on commutes.

Mine is a couple of years old now, still works perfectly. Excellent lights.

Thanks.

Think I'll grab one then.

Great lights, the run time is good but you need to keep them topped up if they're an every day commuter option
