Trying to set this up, but can't get the bolt that adjusts the angle of the light bracket to tighten enough to hold - should there be a nut for the bolt to tighten into that I'm missing?

I fitted one of these yesterday and wondered the exact same thing. But there’s no bolt, the bracket is threaded. I just went tighter until it held. As in tighter than I felt comfortable with. I can still adjust the angle without loosening it, but it seems to hold position ok.

Ignore me - the instructions are much better blown up on a big screen than the tiny piece of card that comes in the packet 🤣🤦‍♂️

Was I right or have I broken mine?!

EDIT - I never greased it.

I had to dremel mine before that part even fitted. I wasn't impressed.

The lights themselves are fantastic though.👍

I used a Hope brake rotor shim/washer to take up the slack and make it easier to tighten/grip.

Good mounts but they aren't wide enough to fit the latest stems (Syntace/Nukeproof etc.)

Used mine a few times now for my Gopro and my halfords light and the bolt tightens up tight just fine
All worked as they should straight out the packet
