OK Boys n Girls time's moving on and this is now only a month away .Did a recce yesterday and spoke to the lady at Horner Tea Garden .She would like an idea of numbers and i guess some idea of who wants a Cream Tea etc .So far i think between me and Les we are about a dozen and i know 3 others who might be coming .
We shall be meeting around the Minehead Mc Donalds area at 10 o clock for a 1030 ride out .I say the area as parking is off street down side roads nearby unless you want to pay about £6 in a car park !Opposite McDs and Morrisons are trading estates where it's possible to park and you'll see plenty of fit looking MTBers in various stages of bike fettling and wardrobe malfunctions ! 😯 If you require any more info either Les or myself should be able to help .I'm hoping Mr Knott will be the unofficial photographer but obviously feel free to bring your own equipment .
If you've not been on one before the emphasis is on the social aspect so please don't intimidate me and the other slow(er) people by showing off your race pace !It's likely that we will end up with 2 groups . Les needs to go to the top of Dunkery for a photo but if anyone wants to miss that bit out i will take the others around rather than over !Right i think thats covered everything hopefully the weather gods will behave as they did yesterday .See you there ! 😀

Still not sure OF - does that help? If the lady runs out of cream teas I won't worry, I'll just share yours 🙂

Hi OF. I'm on Les's list. Whilst a cream tea isn't something I'd normally turn down, I don't think I could manage one mid ride. A cuppa and a choccy muffin will suffice for me. Looking forward to my weekend oop norf!, see you soon.

Hoping to make this, but may not want to spend another 3 hours after 7 the day before. Count me in until further notice.

I reckon you need to post a couple of tempting photos from last time - and I don't mean the cream teas!

What a fab day! Thanks OF and CB for arranging
Great route and company, cream tea in the sun, chips pea fritter and curry sauce...almost doesn't get any better! Also, bizarrely, rather enjoyed cycling up the McMillan way to Dunkery... good sense of achievement 🙂

Thanks to everyone there who made it so enjoyable!

Les - sorry didn't get to say goodbye, happy birthday for tomorrow, hope Dartmoor is excellent.
