That's insane!
the seller is really trying one on there... neoprene protectors are only a tenner
Its an antique!
Wait for the deluge of old fins arriving on classifieds.
Dammit. I sold an old Clockwork frame with one of those still attached!
Check them out on retro bike my brother in law was telling me at the weekend about them he has a nearly perfect one that he is looking after.
SJS aren't known for their cheapness but even so, that must be a mistake?
sjsc are robbing bastids, and always have been.
FFFFFFFFFFFAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
and you paid £10 for a chainstay protector, thats nearly as bad! just wondering if my chainstay is worth £10? £180 fame, is a chainstay more than 1/18th of a frame...........
Bought mine off them from their ebay shop. A year or so ago they were listing one every week - think I paid about a tenner with their ridiculous postage charges.
I remember buying some of these things for £1 a time at one of those 1 day bike sales a few years ago, just for a laugh.
Don't think I even used them! I'll have to try and dig them out, if they're worth £50 each now it may well be the wisest money I ever invested! 😉
Too expensive to risk putting on your bike, that's for sure.
That's a Mk2 one in the pic and on that site.
The early ones didn't have a hole for the zip tie to go through.
Well spotted Brant 🙄
Has anybody EVER jammed a chain between a tire and chainstay? That must take some doing (impossible probably)...
Quick Edit: Why do these always remind me of smokey grey Shogun XTs... Weird.

Yep. 😳
Good effort Franki! I can't see how you can get that much slack in the chain, that close to the chainrings on the exit of the rings. Does it take a really sticky freehub, I wonder?
Phew, I've just ordered 3 before the price goes up again!
How? it says it's the last one EVER.
Johnny Burton has em in stock in Stafford, £4.95
*goes hunting in the cellar for his new in packet XT Sharkfin*
I tried to give it away for free a while back...
This is a lesson in supply and demand. O level economics. Or they got the price wrong.
On a different note...anyone want a used Inbred saddle for £35 plus postage?
