Don't need and can't afford another bike, but I'm feeling the need - the need for niche.

I'm somehow drawn each of these, the belt drive loveliness/colourway horror of the Trek and the interestingness of the Resident (particularly the Alfine version)

Anyone got/ridden either or have any opinions or advice?

I'm putting the kettle on, if anyone wants tea?

I'll have a cuppa.

No idea what they are like but I instinctively want a Resident to go with my Sovereign. It's an Evil so it must be good right?

I know someone with a trek. It is jaw droppingly ugly and pointless but he likes it.

Loving the belt drive / hub gear combo's. really quiet and smooth. looks ace too. Have used it on a trek soho.
