[Closed] Eurosport and the Spring Classics - bimbo q

Last year one could pay monthly for viewing but can't seem to find anything on their website today.

Viewing was only via a PC which obviously isn't ideal. Any way to watch it on a telly?

Thank you. 🙂

The classics are not owned by the UCI so I doubt they'll be on their YouTube channel.

Getting your laptop connected is the only sure fire way of getting good coverage.

Ask a friend with a Virgin or Sky account with Eurosport nicely if you can borrow their log in and password for Virgin TV anywhere / Sky Go and log on and watch.
You can select 5 or so devices to watch on.

This is as legal as a dodgy stream though, but you have to live dangerously sometimes....

I watch them on the laptop, if you go to www.steephill.tv there are usually half a dozen links to streaming tv feeds for each race, mostly European tv channels but RTL is often there as well so at least you get English commentary. I watched and Italian TV stream when Moser won Strade Bianche last year which was hilarious as they predictably went bonkers!

Telly is HDMI so what do I do?

You also need to know what output format your laptop has, most likely either HDMI or the classic RGB, (normally blue in colour with three lines of female connectors, the top and bottom lines being longer than the middle).

Buy a suitable cable, (either HDMI to HDMI or RGB to HDMI), and plug the two in, output your laptop screen to the telly, (normally a short cut key like FN and F8), and away you go via the steephill site or the like.

www.procyclinglive.com for me

although I will be getting proper eurosport at some point as the quality of the pirate feeds is pretty bad

I've just been on to look and I'm offered the monthly option just like before.
It's called 'Crowd pass' and is £5.99 for a month.

Just looked and it seems that there are now iTunes and Android apps available too.
This link also suggests that it's on Xbox, but I haven't got one so haven't delved further:

ooo nice reminder thanks. The pirate feeds are ok but it's worth the 5.99 really.

Just a little update ... looks as though I can use my tablet with an MHL adapter and hdmi cable to watch on the telly. 8)

No problem paying £5.99 per month without signing up to a contract.

Looking forward to those Spring races. 🙂
