Just wondering whether these would be a better bet to wear with SealSkinz socks.
Anybody use them? Are they more square-shaped than standard roadie shoes?
Thank you. ๐
Didn't you ask a similar question the other day?
Did you forget to take your medication again? Nurse! The screens!

I have Specialized "road" and "touring" shoes. Other than the sole and SPD fitting they seem otherwise identical. If you want to wear thicker socks then just take them with you when you go to buy the shoes so youget the correct size.
Now now Cap'n, no need for that! Just trying to work out whether touring shoes would be more appropriate for my unladylike tootsies.
scotroutes - ah, thanks. Problem is bike shops tend to carry a minimal choice of shoes so will need to order online.
๐ Sorry, couldn't resist!
Re width fitting, you're more likely to be successful if you look at the leisure end of the market, I think. Touring shoes aren't really a 'thing' any more, as most people tend to tour in trail type shoes these days (Look normal, nice and comfy etc).
One of the widest I've found is Spesh Tahoes. Not sure if the lady version (assuming you have small, yet square, feet!) are similarly wide, though.
I don't know if they still do them, but Keen used to do spd shoes, suitable for those of us with shovels at the end of our legs. They are large sized, I take a 1/2 size smaller than normal
Thanks again. 8)
