We get quite a lot of threads complaining about service, LBS, etc so i thought I'd do the opposite and express my appreciation.

Due to my own idiocy my bike half came off the rack while driving up the M6 last week. Minimal damage in the end (luck, not judgement) but left me needing a new bar and grips, miles from home, over the bank holiday weekend. Popped into Escape bikes near Ingleton (happened to drive by) and Ian sorted me out on the spot, fitted new bars and grips for me (I also hadn't packed my tool box) and spotted an issue with my stem.

So many, many thanks - fantastic service which allowed me to get some riding in and remind me how much steeper the hills are up north than my current home in Oxford.

cheers
Jonny

I agree, a lovely shop. When it first opened and I saw the money invested I was a bit concerned for them. However, and happily, they’re a lot better at business than me!

I’ve driven past that so many times and never called in. Handy to know about

Yep, we've hired from them before iirc. Some very posh bikes. Ace shop. 👍
