[Closed] Enduroguard on the rear of a hardtail

As the title suggests, is anyone running an Enduroguard on the rear of a hardtail and does it make any difference? I can't imagine it'll keep a huge amount of mud off my back but is it worth a go if only to keep some crap off the dropper post? Running a full crud guard is a no on my frame and I'm too much of a tart to even if I could.

Would a large / Wide fitting chainstay guard work? Velcro round before riding, remove straight after and should(?) be supple enough to fall with the dropper and rigid enough to rise when dropper rises.
??????

This will be more effective, although not perfect.

A piece of old inner tube and 2 cable ties will do a better job of keeping the dropper post clean

I'm not desperately worried about the dropper so much as curious how much it would keep off in general. I like riding in the winter and have never thought about mudguard until recently but bought an Enduroguard for the front to keep some of the filth out of my eyes and wondered if it would do much on the rear.

I have an Enduroguard on the back of my BFe. It makes next to no difference and I keep meaning to take it off.
