Ok so im doing a fell race today and havnt done it before, its common for peaple to get off course on the way back down if the weather closes in, even though its up and down, my question is can I use my Edge to record the trip to the top and then use the back to start option on the way back? if so do i need to change any settings as ive been using it mainly for road riding? Im assuming i'll have to change the follow roads setting any other thoughts 😕
Depends how you use it. I turn off the turn by turn notification and just follow the route on map. If you do this you could just follow the route up back down without changing anything.
But best way would be to plot the route on basecamp if you have the map and know the route?
Thats the problem there isn't a route map to follow so unfortunately I cant plot one out
