We will be in touch
Hoping some other people on here have experience of these shcoks to help me out. Its fitted to a PACE405XCAM.
The shock itself feels very stiff initially when compressed just standing in the shed - is this normal?
I have set the sag as stated in the manual and have very little platform turned on yet it still feels quite hard on small bumps - is this normal?
Any comments advice appreciated as i am new to DT having been a Fox man for years till now
cheers

i have the hvr-200 fitted to a focus big bud.having owned the bike now for 6 monthes i can shed some light.
the hvr shock is quite linear so not as much air is needed to get the correct setup.
the negative setting is pre set at the factory a cannot be adjusted.
firstly the initial travel is quite restricted even with the platorm turned to minimum.
it is to minmimise bob until you hit the trail or a bump & then it opens its threshold & absorbs the bump.my manual actually says that when setting the shock up it is best to do on the trail with a pump as it is not possile in a car park enviroment.
i would ask your weight & what pressure you run in the shock .i weight 9st 10 loaded & i run it on the high side or my weight at 110psi 4 clicks out on the platform &around 4 half turns of fast for the rebound.
trust me as soon as you hit the trail you will understand how it works.
Second the trail set up method. Had mine for a short while on a Voodoo Canzo and was surprised that i only put 90psi in it as i was running 130ish on Fox RP23 i had previously.
cheers guys.
I am weighing in about 90kg all in and have 110psi in the shock now. I was running it at 100psi but the seat stay brace hit the seta tube on a cocked up landing!!
Have ridden it a few times now and whilst getting full travel and being generally happy with it i was wondering about other users and thier experiences.
cheers again
