Looking to do both in a weekend. Anyone driven between them?

Google Maps reckons 72.4miles and its gonna take us about 2 hours? Are the roads really that crap?

Cheers

Not crap, just tight 'n' twisty. No dual carrigeways (yet alone motorways!) in this part of the world, so getting places takes that little bit longer.

1h30 to 2 hours is about right.

EDIT: Driving between the two, you'll drive through Aberystwyth (halfway point), with Nant-Yr-Arian about 10 minutes inland. A little closer to CyB you'll drive through Machyllneth, with Mach 1, 2, and 3 and Climach-X. Plenty of options if you want to break up the drive/make the most of your time out there.

What the man said. Take lights + do Nant Yr Arian Summit trail and/or Climach-X on your way past.
But don't bother trying to cane it on roads in between. Twisty / farm traffic / speed traps...
Enjoy

How slow do you lot drive? I can get from Manchester to Newcastle Emlyn in less than 4 hours.
