There was a comment in the discussion about Wiggins' accident that many people were not aware of existing cycling campaigns. Here's an example of a simple thing you can do, if you are interested:

Early Day Motion 407 has been tabled in support of British Cycling's call for a justice review:

You can write to your MP and ask them to sign EDM 407 (if they have not already done so - check the signatories here: http://www.parliament.uk/edm/2012-13/407)

Keep it short, specific and polite; there is a letter template on the BC website if you would like some ideas about what to write:
