I want to use a front wheel on two bike, one with 20mm maxel the other with 9mm QR.
Using the hope conversion kit, and no circlips holding them in, would this a) make it easy to change the wheel, the only problem being making sure I don't loose the parts. or b) make the front wheel into a rotating death trap?
The circlips are so easy to get in and out that you'd spend more time trying to line up the 20mm spacers when fitting your wheel without them than you would changing them.
But no it wouldn't cause any problems once fitted in the fork as the axle would hold everything in place.
won't be a problem apart from the spacers falling out when you remove the wheel, they're a loose fit behind the circlips anyway.
