Does anyone know what the hose lengths are for brand new front and rear Elixir 5 and Shimano XT brakes? I was about to order some elixirs for my large giant glory but CRC tell me the rear hose length is only 135cm which seems very short to me. My other option is XTs so would be interested to know what these hose lengths are.
My understanding is that to change the hose on elixirs is a pain in the arse and requires forking out 30 odd quid for special adaptors. Is this the same with the shimano brakes?

I haven't measure it by 160cm rings a bell for my XT rear brake.
It was exactly the same length as my previous Juicy 5 if that's any use.
