Unsure which ones to order so was just wondering what folk use and why?

semi metallic on the xc race bike for feel and power

sintered on the ss & play bike for long life at the expense of feel and noise

not tried kevlar

I have only bought kevlars in the last 2 years - seems to be a good balance of bite and longevity - no squeal unless really wet IME (SS Juicy 7 and Hope M4)

My kevlars have a very slight noise even when dry

Kevlar have been a good balance for me. They don't dissolve in mud like organics, but they perform a little better than sintered.
