I bopped my mech and hanger on bike #2 last month
Nail in sidewall of 2 month old car tyre
Speedo broke too
Tonight's ride snapped chain and snapped the one month old mech hanger
Talk about bad luck!
Fortunately bike #1 is OK for the STW Exmmor safari tomorrow.

i broke 3 x9 mechs in 6 rides and also 3 mech hangers, slashed tyre side walls twice in 3 rides. Karma bit me on the arse for some reason!!

My brother broke his mech hanger and nearly dragged the whole lot through a wheel when we were in cornwall several miles from anywhere. A bit of bodging got him round and then the lucky g1t found a shop with a marin gear hanger before day 2.
