so charged new as in bought from Evans, so charged for over 4 hours and taken it outside now and on green light mode/full only slightly brighter than my alpkit gamma.......surely it should be be brighter???
Went through the cycle as in amber and red and really dull.
Any thoughts?
Well give Exposure a call/email. Their customer service is usually pretty good.
Dunno about the mark 6 but I recently bought a mark 7 as an update on a mark 5 and it is very much brighter - really impressive
I have a Mk2 which is still absolutely one of my bestest bits of kit
Sorry no idea how bright a Gamma is but the Joystick isnt necessarily about raw power
Its not nearly as bright as a Maglight for example
But for decent run time (2-3h) with a decent beam with a low weight its the business
Best bet would be to check it out at your local branch of Evans and so see if yours is duff

Always been told to charge unit for the first time for several hours. Efficiency usually improves as the light is used and recharged several times.
Go for a few rides with it, then try one without.
Next time out with it you'll be less disappointed?
