[Closed] Dinotte 200L on Lid - Cable length question

Is it possible to extend the cable so battery pack can go in rucksack? The lead clips on to the batteries with a terminal the same as those on a square 9v battery.

Also, while on the subject, has anyone come up with a more elegant method of mounting than the cumbersome thing that comes with it?

Thanks!

Yes.
Looking at the bits I got when I ordered a 200 and 600 set from On-One a few years ago I've got two extension cables, both 1 metre long.
Not sure if there's a UK supplier now, On-One have a few bits left. Try the Dinotte web site, they ship to the UK and have always been very helpful. (I emailed them last year and got a response back within an hour, on a saturday afternoon!)

Thanks Richmars, that's very helpful. Are they just a length of cable with those 9v-style connectors on each end? Might have to nip to Maplins and buy the bits as I need it tomorrow night.

Thanks again mate...

Not sure I understand about the '9v-style' connectors. Mine have co-axal type connectors, with a little 'D' moulded in. Are you talking about the rechargable type?

No, mine aren't rechargeable, they have a little battery carrier that holds 4 x AA batteries. This clips on with a connector just like the ones on the top of those square 9v batteries...
