I have been looking at them and the context ridewear, haven't yet taken a gamble. Feed back on fit would nice if you do order some

Thought about buying some as they appear to be tough and the Loam Wolf review by that Scots guy was positive but I wasn’t too sure about the sizing.  I ended up spending half as much on some Rapha Finale pants as I like their trail pants and know their sizing.

My riding group have a number of pieces from both Dfyrs and Context. We've all been happy with the fit, VFM, service etc & no complaints.

Mate has had the AC pants for 2yrs or more and still swears by them.

I've got a pair. They're really good for sloppy winter riding and bike park days. They're properly heavy and tough, and the quality appears to be top notch. They've held up well through a couple of unscheduled dismounts including a rocky one at dyfi. I wouldn't use them for pedally days in warm or even slightly warm conditions. Sizing is long and lean of leg - i sized up to get more leg room and am glad that i did.

Dfyrs stuff generally excellent, well made and robust. Size wise they're generous.

Worst sin, all the promos, I've got loads of their socks, no hardship because they're also excellent, but I'm a sucker for a 'deal'.

In classic STW fashion "How much?!" - I can never bring myself to swallow that kind of pricing on stuff like this. Especially if - like some people said - you just using them on uplifts or cold days? Why not just get a pair of heavy canvas work trousers for £30?

Erm, because I don't want to ride a bike in £30 heavy canvas work troos? These seem like they would be fine for an all day ebike pedal, or cooler weather normal bike ride

Anyway they arrived today and they are going back.

Really like the look of them, waist and leg seem good for my 32/33w, 33/34l in a large. Can 'just' comfortably get some IXS flow light kneepads under them, but certainly wouldn't want anything much bulkier.

But.... the cut is rather strange for me. Whilst they look like the mediums fit the guy in the vid above fine, these seem like they are cut for a woman. Zero room out front to the point of a nutsack camel toe (and I haven't got particularly big plums) yet a whole heap of bunched up bubble butt room out back. Very odd. I have some Fox Defend that fit much better around the groin/ass and kneepad area which I'll be sticking with. Shame, I wanted to like them

nutsack camel toe

I believe the correct term if 'frog eye'

Sounds like I made the right choice giving them a swerve.  I'm still thinking about one of their long sleeve tops in a size to go over armour.

Try the TLD sprint pants, I've got 3 pairs, swear by em and dead comfy. Plenty of room for the beef bayonet and betty swollocks

I'm between medium and large in most things and went for the large hoodie - it's plenty large

Aye, I tailored mine so they fit a little better. But I do have massive balls.

Also put some fabric over the crotch vents. The chill made my balls normal sized.

I just got a pair of the DC version for a good price off ebay. Assuming the cut is same as the AC, fit wise they are spot on at the groin, cut to avoid saddle snags. Mine are 2XL and I would say true.to size, I'm a 36 waist and have the ratchet done all the way up. A bit of punching around the back but not much and assume.woimd be less with an XL, which is what I should be wearing. Leg length is good at a trail giraffe 6'3.5".

Only worn once and very comfy, didn't notice them. Would happily swap.for an XL on the off chance someone wants to size up, otherwise will keep wearing them

Nutsack Camel Toe

I'm almost tempted to learn how to play an instrument just so I can use that as an album name 😁

Have you seen the Blackline MTB pants? I keep getting ads for them on FB. They seem decent.
