Anyone aware of any Bangladesh based bike companies, that may benefit from a reduction in duty?

What, exploiting poor countries by encouraging them to sell-off vital things like food to resource hungry westerners whilst others go hungry?

AKA Empire II the resurrection…

No, it's giving those people/factories a larger market without the UK government taking a cut of their profits.

India looks set to gain most when it comes to bikes exports. Bangladesh is already exporting here duty-free under the GSP system if the bikes meet certain regs. What's about to change is the % of locally-made parts can be slightly lower to qualify and/or what actually counts as 'made in', and the name of the system. But the anti-dumping rules on Chinese content still apply wherever the bike is assembled.

Unlikely, I expect it's just about where parts/products originate. Factory conditions would be covered by audits wherever they are.

Loads, esp if you consider all 'developing countries' who come under the GSP scheme.
